Ummm… I may have bought myself an ice cream maker and that might be peanut butter ice cream with dark chocolate and peanut butter chips. It might be made with heavy cream and whole milk. I might need to run tomorrow to compensate.

If anyone has any healthy versions they make in their ice cream machine I’m open for suggestions.

I am very tired - worked until 1 am last night moving a pharmacy that is being remodeled into their temporary space. Went in at 7:30 am today to make sure everything was ok.

Spent the day in meetings with the team, including a particular co-worker with which there have been some issues. I haven’t really posted about it on here, but some of you know about it. All I really want to say is that today was a good day. Today felt normal. That makes me happy so I’ll take it.

So tired right now, but at least it was a good day.

I have never been much of a shoe person. When I was a dispensing pharmacist I stood on my feet for 13 hours a day a lot, so it was always more about comfort. At home I’m a flip-flop or bare foot kind of girl - I have quite a collection of flip-flops.

These shoes have all been purchased in the past month, four pairs were purchased today. Oh, and there’s one more pair I bought online that hasn’t arrived yet. And I still really need a pair of brown or tan closed-toe heels, preferably wedges as I’m less likely to kill myself in those.

But I still maintain that I’m not a shoe person.

Walked to the bread company and farmer’s market downtown this morning. I’m now a sweaty, hot mess - holy humidity, welcome to summer. Sat down and realized I was at just over 9300 steps for the day and had 5 minutes until noon. Decided to try to get to 10,000 before noon. So, ShortMom style, I did house laps. To make it more fun I ran stairs - I have 2 staircases that go from the first to the second floor so I would run up one and go down the other. When I started I had only climbed 1 floor. Mission accomplished.

I’m taking a bit of a mental health day today. I’ve been having a rough couple of weeks at work - the kind where you feel like you are working your ass off and getting nothing done. I just need a break. Brian comes home this evening so I’m enjoying a nice quiet solo day at home. Funny how I don’t mind being alone during the day, I only hate it at night.

Lazed around all morning and finally decided to go out and run before the rain comes back this afternoon. Was only going to run 3.1 but then decided to tack on another 0.9 for the heck of it. Felt good. Nice weather but really noticed that humidity today, and it’s only 77%!

It’s technically Tuesday now so I can post this.This is obviously filled with Indy awesomes a tumblr with a Pittsburgh marathon PR. Xpltvdeleted somehow always makes my list. Oh, and apparently I’m totally stalking Kari and her awesome coverage of the tumblr Indy weekend.

On a separate note, I have random large bruises on my arms - what in the world did I do this weekend? Does anyone have video footage of how that happened? Or maybe I just don’t want to know.

I do not like this Monday work hell where you work all day but somehow feel like you’ve managed to accomplish nothing. And it’s a rainy, yucky mess outside. And then there’s the lonely that happens when you spend a weekend filled with lots of awesome people and are suddenly completely alone because your husband choses this week to travel back NC. Would love to crawl under the covers and call it a day, but I get to go back to work and sit in a pharmacy after it closes for a few hours while they work on remodel stuff. First world problems I guess, but it sucks nonetheless.
